In celebration of his upcoming album release on April 27th, B.o.B held a live concert exclusively for the Internet, which he streamed to the world on his ustream channel lat night. As many as 6,000 fans tuned in to watch the live show and Bobby Ray did not disappoint the large web crowd. He ran through cuts with his DJ to start things off, then brought out his band, The Eastsiders, and the energy really picked up. He even played songs from his latest mixtape, “May 25th”, for the first time live and everything sounded fantastic. B.o.B., aka Bobby Ray, took center stage at Highline Ballroom this past weekend in NYC and put on an amazing set. He kicked off the show with his DJ and right-hand man, Playboy Tre, to go through a few cuts before welcoming his band to the stage to really set things off. Its truly amazing how much stage presence and charisma he has, rocking the crowd like a vet at the ripe young age of 20. He also played guitar and keyboards on a few songs while effortlessly breezing through many crowd favorites from his mixtape catalog. B.o.B. is the latest sensation to come out of Atlanta and is already doing big things at the tender age of 20. He was one of the featured performers on this past summer’s Hip Hop Live Tour, along with Little Brother, David Banner and Talib Kweli. When the tour rolled through NYC, B.o.B. hit the stage at the Nokia Theatre backed by the live band Rhythm Roots All-Stars. He may be a youngin, but his stage presence is that of a veteran and he had the crowd’s full attention. Here is his performance of “Generation Lost” from that night.
