Talib Kweli took the stage at SOB’s in NYC a few weeks ago to rock for a sold out crowd.  While he’s been on the road with Hi-Tek in support of Revolutions Per Minute, this was a solo show that was a steady mix of his whole catalog.  More importantly, he was backed by an amazing live band led by Daru Jones on the drums.  Here are a bunch of songs from the show that we managed to record for your listening pleasure.

The folks at DD172 and Creative Control held their BluRoc Festival @ Brooklyn Bowl on June 21st which was a celebration of the label and featured Curren$y, Big Krit, Rugz D Bewler, Ski Beatz, Stalley, Tabi Bonney and other backed by a live band headed by Daru Jones on the drums.  Now, we are blessed with a free live recording of the show.
