Elitaste hooked up a soundboard source of Wale’s complete set from his show at Mezzanine last week.  From what I gather, the energy of the crowd was amazing and the show itself is sick.  Wale, and his backing Go Go band, UCB, absolutely killed it.  He also performed 2 songs from his upcoming debut release, “Pretty Girls” and “Chillin”.  Hit the jump for the tracklist and the link.

This was arguably the best concert I went to in 2007… Robert Glasper, Chris Dave, Derrick Hodge, Casey Benjamin (collectively, the RCDC Experiment) with guests Mos Def, Q-Tip and Bilal.  The loose vibe of the show created a dope atmosphere and everyone on the stage killed.  Q-Tip asked Mos, who was enjoying the show in the crowd, to come on stage and kick a freestyle and of course he obliged.  Hit the jump to hear two of the best emcees trading verses back and forth.

Blu & Exile opened up for Wale at SOB’s in NYC last summer and as you can imagine, it was one hell of a concert.  I believe this was Blu’s first ever show in NYC, and the talented young emcee more than impressed.  Highlight of their set had to be “Disco D.Y.N.A.M.I.T.E.” with Exile freestyling the entire beat live on his MPC, then kicked into an absolutely ridiculous MPC solo.  In case you dont believe he did all that live, I included some video to prove it.
